12k carbon fiber unidirectional fabric refers to a kind of carbon fiber cloth with a large number of carbon fibers in one direction (usually longitudinally), and a small amount and usually fine carbon fiber wires in the other direction, so that the overall strength of the cloth is actually in the first direction. The unidirectional carbon fiber cloth maintains the full strength of carbon fiber in meridional direction, which is especially beneficial to be used as reinforcing material.
