Carbon fiber twill is an interactive weaving of warp and weft. Compared with plain weave, carbon fiber twill has fewer nodes and more thorough resin impregnation. Therefore, in the actual performance of carbon fiber products, the shear performance of twill carbon fiber products is higher than plain carbon fiber products.

Although in normal circumstances, the performance of the two weave will not be very different, but if it is some special application areas, it will make some specific choices. For example, if there is a certain demand for acid-base resistance in the marine field, plain weave will be selected. And if it is for better beauty, it will choose twill, the surface of the product will look more beautiful.

Tips

1.Ideal for making high-strength, light weight parts that don't need to withstand high temperatures.

2.To maximize strength properties, use with an epoxy.

3.For added conformability, lay up the fabric at a 45-degree bias inside molds.
